Relay

Intermediate and solid-state relays are designed for galvanic isolation of circuits, "multiplication" of signals (intermediate relays) and increase in switching currents. Solid-state relays do not have moving contacts; they use semiconductor keys - triacs or thyristors - to switch the load.
